BC STANDARD DUTY (4MM-3")
The BC Series line is our smallest diameter range of standard tools used to improve the internal surface finish while also being able to deburr a bore or cylinder. Available in a range of grits and abrasive types.
GB Standard Duty (3-1/4"- 4-5/8")
The GB Series tackles a slightly larger diameter range and has a shorter abrasive part than GBD hones. Commonly used to finish and deglaze block cylinders or liners and represent a tremendous value on a cost per cylinder basis. Available in a range of grits and abrasive types to provide an excellent finish on any material.
GBD Heavy Duty (3"- 8")
The GBD Series is designed with a longer abrasive part than our standard GB hones. Commonly used for block cylinders or liners, stationary diesel, oil and gas pipes, marine engines and may other applications. This heavy duty tool is recommended for large diameter or high production applications.
GBD Woodcore Heavy Duty (8"-18")
BRM's GBD Woodcore Series are constructed using an aluminum sleeve over a lightweight wood core. All tools require a steel hex drive shaft that is sold separately and measures 34" OAL. Additional abrasive types and grits are available to customize the finish.
GBDX Extra Heavy Duty (19"-36")
BRM's GBDX Series of flexible hones are built with a steel drum to accomodate replaceable honing sections allowing one drum to cover a range of bore diameters from 19”- 36” and allow for multiple grits or abrasive types.

Large bores require large hones. Replaceable honing sections allowing one drum to cover a range of bore diameters and to allow multiple grits or abrasive types.
GBDX FLEX-HONE® Replacement Drums
Metal replacement drum kits compatible with GBDX diameters 19"-22". The modular design allows for reuse of the drum and attach new sections when needed.
