BRM's DRUM1112P is a kit designed for our largest diameter super heavy duty FLEX-HONE® tools. The kit includes an 11-1/2" metal drum which is compatible with GBDX FLEX-HONE® diameters 19"-22". The modular design allows users to reuse the drum and attach new sections when needed. The kit also includes assembly instructions as well as all hardware needed for installation (bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins, etc.). Shaft and sections sold separately. The FLEX-HONE® Tool is a resilient, flexible honing tool with a soft cutting action. It's unique construction allows the abrasive globules or "stones" to float, assuring the tool will be self-centering, self-aligning to the bore and self-compensating for wear. The tool will provide a superior surface finish bringing increased product performance, longer product life and less product reject. The GBDX Series hones are constructed using a steel drum with replaceable honing sections allowing one drum to cover a range of bore diameters from 19”- 36” and to allow multiple grits or abrasive types.
